TCL 75" 4-Series #75S425. Not getting any power to TV. There was a storm last night. TV and other electronics were plugged into surge protector. However... some of the other electronics had to be unplugged and plugged back in before working... which leads me to think that there was still a surge. I've tried discharging the power, holding the power button, and reset button. Probably need new power board?

I replaced mine with the help of this video, so thank you! I saved myself a few hundred instead of replacing my TV. Took me about 3 hours (because I'm overly-cautious). I have some notes based on my experience that will hopefully help others: The address bars on the bottom have some sort of fabric-like tape. It's okay to remove them when disassembling the bezel frame, just don't cut them because you can stick them back on later. The reflector frame is a hassle to remove. Just pull up on the frame gently while prying the bezel clips. Most importantly, carefully align the LEDs before taping them down. You have to ensure the raised circular bumps on the frame align with the holes in the led strips. I had to cut holes into the double sided tape so the strips could make proper contact with the frame.

I have a samsung 75 in Tv Power light not on no stand bye light back light blinking on and off what could it be?

Working on a V705x-H1 70 inch VIZIO for my parents. We replaced the power supply, t-con, and main board with new ones off Ebay. LTCHC1AW is the kit we used and matched our tv's numbers. I still have no picture, but you can see with flashlight on the image for input, and NO CONNECTION, as well as a circle spinning faintly. Cannot see any visible light. We bought 2 led backlight strips from you on Ebay and are working on removing the screen to check under the filters for backlight condition. Been REAL careful. This tv is similar to some of your videos but several things are different so it is a learning experience. Thanks for your help. We will let you know how it goes. :)

Thanks for helping a young man with virtually no experience fix his TV. My model is newer, and I had to do a minor improvision, but it worked out. One important note, do not leave the suction cups on the screen after taking it off. I did have some rings on the screen becauae of this when first turning it on. They did go away after about an hour; however, I may have just gotten lucky with it going away. They were very noticeable at first.

I put out a question about my 77 inch C2 that the power light would stay and standby only blink once most opinions was it was a fried panel. This video tells you if you plug it in and the relay doesn’t click then it’s probably your main assembly board tried that didn’t work. Tried the power supply that didn’t work. I knew the power supply probably wasn’t gonna fix it. So I went on eBay found a Tcon bored it was 30 bucks plus shipping and that’s what was wrong with it so I spent almost $200 on two boards that I didn’t need to replace. I’m not saying this video is wrong in some cases but in my case like people on here that have tried the same thing and it didn’t work. You need to look at the Tcon bored as your culprit

How many LED strips do I need? I have this TV too

I changed out the Main Board/Power Supply for my Vizio model V505-J09. The old board has several burn marks so it was trashed. The new one now lights up the front screen, but I still don't get a picture. I have re-connected all the cable a few times but nothing changes. Secondly the remote doesn't work. I can't seem to reconnect it to the TV. Any suggestions? Buy new cables??

This did not help me at all, with my 50-inch Vizio MQX. Ended up breaking the bevel, because it's doesn't come apart like that. So, I wasted money on parts, and then ended up breaking the damn screen trying to get the stupid bevel off. This was of absolutely no help. That bevel is one piece. Except for the bottom section. And it is freaking glued on there!! I'm just pissed off that I wasted any money at all on it, now. 🙄

My TCL model 55s451 has a light blue screen and no sound and no picture. With a flashlight no image.

Hi Jimmy, I installed the strips which had double sided tape on the back already. They are lifting slightly in a couple of places. Is there anyway to fix them without having to take them up and start again?

Hey maybe you can give us some guidance. We replaced all of our back lights, it fixed the issue but now we have horizontal lines that move when we tap the side of the TV and the left side of the screen is fading different colors. The backlights are working but now this new issue. We suspect we damaged the ribon cables. Any guidance would be welcomed. Thanks!

I got a replacement board from shop Jimmy ; but my d40f-g9 Vizio smart tv screen is still blank at on point I did see some thing like a logo but it went blank to. I am now thinking it is a led problem ; I am not sure , what I need is how to remove the screen from my tv so I can check the led's ;the SSN, LINIXTAV 0906037 and the board number is BQ7Z02TCGRU00042107000 , I have tried everything that was shown on RUclips and nothing still a black screen, I need to know how to remove the screen for my Vizio tv d40f-g9 can you do a video on that part to show how to fix the led strips.

So my Sony XBR-65X750D has a flashing red light just below the SONY logo, no picture or sound. I took the back off and disconnected the ribbon from the T-Con board. I turned the TV on and the screen lights up and to my surprise it started playing "Dreamy-Like"music. The music has me baffled as it won't play when the ribbon is connected nor will the screen light up. I plugged the ribbon back into the T-Copn board, turned on the power and no music but the red light flashed 5 times once again. I just want my 8 year old TV to work. Any suggestions will be welcome. It just won't turn on

Hello, thanks for posting these videos. I have a LG OLED55C3PUA TV that doesn't power up. LG had tried to send techs to fix this TV (they replaced both the power supply and main board - twice) but it still doesn't work. I've also tried doing power resets by unplugging the tv from the power source and holding the power button on the tv for 15 to 20 seconds then waiting for over two minutes and plugging the TV back into the surge protector using different locations all to no avail. I keep thinking that this can't be something that complicated. Since both sets of power and main boards didn't fix this problem do you have any suggestions as to what could be causing this problem? I'm getting no sound or picture. Could this be the T-con board maybe? Thanks

Have a Samsung plasma Tv (model) PS50Q97HDX (2007/8) Turns on blue led under power button on front responds to remote inputs. No Picture or Sound. Have replaced X sustain and corresponding pair of Buffers going to multiples of gold ribbons on (Left Hand Side) viewed from back. Have replaced Y sustain with 3 brown ribbon cables into black sockets on the (Right Hand Side) as viewed from back. Replaced Main Power Supply board. When powered on a green led lights up on X sustain board,and a green led lights up on a small board located behind the stand (near Bottom Middle) of set. There appears to be nkk on evidence if the X sustain firing up or the Y sustain firing up, however the Power Supply board must be working as power is being fed to the 2 boards with leds lit. 2 Boards that haven’t been replace are ( long and Thin) located either side of the stand bracket at the bottom of set (as viewed) from back and the (tuner/decoder) board located on a (sub assembly)near middle ,just above the stand locating bracket. Any ideas or suggestions,as to why it won’t fire up the plasma panel. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Jason

I’m testing the sc board on my Panasonic plasma tv PC-P50ST30 while watching your video. Not sure which board is bad (no picture and 14 blinks). There doesn’t seem to be continuity on part 5w 2.2K 173. I disconnected the su and sd boards separately and still no continuity on that part. Not sure how to interpret that. Would love to get this tv working again but don’t want to waste money replacing boards that are still good. Thanks for your help.
